Bilingual COTA
Lissette Sanchez is a COTA who has been with the occupational therapy team at Homegrown Therapy since it opened in 2022. She graduated from Keiser University in 2021. She is originally from Long Island, NY where she had the opportunity to learn and be a part of a community of variable cultures. Stemming from this experience gave rise to her interest in making an impact in the community, particularly children with challenges. Occupational therapy provided an opportunity to develop new ways of helping children reach their full potential.
When she is not devoting her time helping the children in the community, Lissette enjoys trying new restaurants with family and friends. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Listening to music, trying new recipes, and watching The Hallmark Channel with her dog is her favorite past time. She has a passion for dogs and horses and hopes to be able to incorporate that into therapy one day.
Lissette enjoys working with the pediatric population because “the children humble you and are always proud of their achievements”.
Heidi is an Occupational Therapist who has obtained her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health, Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Heidi has a passion for sensory processing disorders and one day would like to obtain her Sensory Integration Certification. Heidi also has an interest in young adolescents transitioning from High School to out into the community and engaging them to their next life adventure. When Heidi is not working she is spending most of her time with her two children and traveling to some of our Nations great State Parks with her last one being Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
